Its all about terrorism and security and minimum wage and healthcare etc.. Which all on their own are good causes but the most important causes are missing.
1. Maintaining a diverse growing population (esp, high skill immigration, but also encouraging birth)
2. Educating it (decentralizing, modernizing and diversifying for new skills)
These two things would lead to more prosperity, more new ideas and a greater economy. The rest we would figure out in the wake of the overwhelming prosperity and growth.
Its much easier to solve the hard problems when you have a cash surplus than when you are tight on it.
