Are there any initiatives that are working to bridge the gap between cities and rural areas in education and world view?

One of the results of this past election is that we’re forced to face how different people’s goals are in different parts of the United States.

These are differences that have always been there. Now, they’re coming to the surface as it becomes easier to communicate.

Over time, this difference will average out. It remains to be seen whether the average will be low or high.

Something like Seedsofpeace.org (a summer camp for Israeli and Palestinian kids in Maine to get to know each other) for different parts of the United States seems like it would do a lot of good.
