Rural America can’t recover without a government sponsored basic income.

The industrial towns are no longer industrial. They don’t have any industry.

People have enough to eek by, but not enough to thrive and be excited.

And with the coming automation of all work, this problem will only get worse.

The only way to guarantee that all people have a good standard of living is to redirect some of the spoils of automation for their needs.

Now, is it a good idea to ensure that all people have a good standard of living?
