A good method is better than a new method.

We have an obsession with things that are brand new. Things that are innovative.

And although innovative techniques help move us forward, make sure that you’ve discovered all the good things out there before trying to re-invent the wheel.

The truth is that we, as individuals, don’t know most of the things that humanity has learned.

Internalizing as many of those lessons as possible will get you ahead.

Learn the successes and failures of the past.

Don’t draw an interface from scratch, draw from the best examples.
