What if all it takes to be exceptional is one outstanding piece?

One coincidence. Being in the right place at the right time once.

And then, even if everything you do after is shit, people think its gold.

This would mean that most of what we think is “exceptional” isn’t. It just happens to be made by a person who once created something exceptional.

It would mean that much of society is influenced by merely “good” art, people, products and concepts.

It would mean that we’re leaving most exceptional things on the table. We never discover them.

It would mean that we care more about individuals than the things they do or create.

It would mean our filtration system is inefficient.
