Optimize for long term, not short term performance.

Theres a bias in “productive” communities that look for the quick fix to productivity.

Whether its drinking coffee, taking modafinil for wakefulness, or taking adrenal for focus, these are all short term fixes.

They may help you in the for 24 hours but then there is a crash and a decrease in productivity.

In the long term, its far more important to exercise, eat well and get good sleep.

Once you’ve got those 3 things down, then you can start experimenting with more cutting edge productivity enhancers.

But, by far the largest results will be from those 3 simple things.
