Sleeping 7.5 hours a night has become such an ingrained habit that when I break my bedtime, I change my wakeup time.
I have never regretted it.
I do regret every time I try to sleep 6 hours and snooze for 9.
Or every time that I actually do sleep only 6 hours and am unable to function correctly for the rest of the day.
You’d think this its obvious that sleep is important. And maybe it is. But there is a big difference between knowing something and understanding it.
For me, that took decades of sleep deprivation and then a few years of focused building of the sleep habit.
Not I’m more focused and don’t need stimulants to make that happen.
