Habits build on top of each other.

Its much easier to chain habits end to end. So, you may have a first habit that triggers a second and a third and so on.

This is great because it means that if you can build a good habit chain it will be easier to get more things done in a given amount of time.

It can also be bad. If you miss just one of the initial habits then all the others go to shit too.

The key is to be aware of this. Understand how you can chain habits to each other to get more done. Also understand that if you fall off the wagon you must make a concerted effort to get the roll going again.

Its ok to reset and start over instead of playing stressed catch up all day.

Accept that certain things may not happen on a day that there are disruptions and plan for how you will prevent this sort of disruption in the future.
