Change is lonely.

If you want to improve yourself, you will need to do it on your own.
In the best case your friends will encourage you but if you’ve been the same for a long time this is unlikely.
The people around us influence our actions. If you had people that were constantly improving around you wouldn’t want to make changes now.
The solution in the long term is to find people who are where you want to be.
In the short term, the solution is to not care. To be more motivated by your goals than by the indifference or criticism of those around you.
And if you inspire those around you to follow your path then even better.
